Authentic Community

We cultivate authentic, caring relationships in which we experience the gift of friendship and mutual support. We have fun together. We warmly welcome visitors and intentionally enfold newcomers into our faith community.

We truly value our diversity of opinions, backgrounds, cultures and values. We love being involved in each others lives and getting to know every generation in our community. We care deeply for each other, because Christ cares deeply for us.

Not only does this happen organically, but we also like to create opportunities to get to know each other and have fun together. Sometimes they are more serious (Visiting an art exhibit for instance), and sometimes its more silly (like this years Hootenanny Sing Along) but everyone is always welcome to come and join us and share an evening together.

What kind of events do we do?

A Church wide Picnic at the Outdoor Discovery Center
Monthly Potlucks
Bridal showers and Baby Showers
Friday Night Fires
Hootenanny Sing-Along
Dine with 9
TGIF Friday Night Events
Beatles Night
Progressive Dinner
Supporting others by attending events (Music Concerts, Art Shows, Theater Shows, Sporting Events, Milestone Birthday Parties, etc…)

Keep your eyes on our announcements (emailed by the office each Friday) to hear about upcoming events.

Authentic Community Newsletter

Roughly quarterly, the Authentic Community team shares a “Connect” Newsletter with “Get to know you” info from new members and long time members, as well as “Life Changes” where you can share births, deaths, graduations, career changes, retirements, so that we can rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn. If you have something you would like to submit to this newsletter, click the link below.
