Kingdom

We believe that God  calls us to further His kingdom and bring His shalom to this world. At 14th Street, we work on doing this through lots of different arenas.

We support a variety of Missionaries from all around the world financially and through our prayers.

Missionaries:

We tutor and give a listening ear to at-risk elementary students in the Holland Public School system through the KidsHope USA program.

Kid’s Hope:

We care for God’s creation. God calls us to be good stewards of His creation and we explore ways to do this as a congregation. With events like “Garlic Mustard Pull” where we hike and remove invasive species from our local areas, and partnering with groups like 3Sixty on a neighborhood clean up, we are always looking for ways to support and sustain God’s creation.

Creation Care:

By welcoming and helping refugees from all over the world, we are reminded that we are all strangers and sojourners. Over the past 20 years, we have supported a number of refugee families.

Refugee Resettlement:

Through working with local partner ministries we can help our neighbors in need. Click the buttons below to learn more about a few of the organizations we support.

Every Sunday, we have the opportunity to support local and global ministries with our financial gifts. Our weekly Bulletin contains more information about the ministries that we support each week.

Offerings:

We appreciate when someone from our congregation or community shares their needs with us. It takes courage and trust to share this with someone, so we use discretion and confidentiality with each need. Through our deacons, we are often able to connect them with resources that can help.

Benevolence:

Holland Bach Society:

Many of the works by Johann Sebastian Bach were written specifically to be used in worship. The Holland Bach Society is dedicated to sharing these musical works of J. S. Bach in worship as they were originally intended. 14th Street has supported its work since its founding in 2021.
